Glossy, thick hair is something that everyone wants. This article has some of the best natural ways to get thicker hair than you already have. Go through them and see how simple they are.
If there’s one thing that gets women all envious about another one, (apart from her slender figure and never ending legs) it’s thick, glossy, lustrous hair! Yes, women love to flaunt full manes that get tied up in elaborate updos and when left down transform into a glorious mass of shine and softness! Wishful thinking for you? Well, it needn’t be any more. This Buzzle article has some fabulous ideas on how you can sport a head of thick hair. And the best part is, they’re all natural ways to get thicker hair. So you don’t have to worry about torturing your tresses with harsh chemicals either. Check them out!
Limit the Use of Chemical Products
The first, foremost and perhaps the most significant step that you need to take in your quest to get thicker hair naturally is to limit or if possible, totally avoid the use of products that have harsh chemicals in them. For instance, coloring, perming, and other such hair treatments generally require products that contain a lot of strong chemicals in them. These chemicals, when overused over a long period of time can do more harm than good to your hair. They can make your hair dry, limp, lifeless, dull to look at and coarse to touch. If you absolutely must use products for hair treatments, try as much as possible to go for the ones that contain natural ingredients. They won’t harm your hair like the chemical ones.
Increase Vitamin, Mineral and Protein Intake
It has been seen that the regular intake of vitamins and minerals leads to an increase in the thickness of the hair. So, try to include as much of these nutrients in your daily diet as you can. Vitamin (A, B, C and E) rich foods like avocado, asparagus, kiwis, mangoes, Brussels sprouts, spinach, curry leaves, fenugreek, etc. and mineral rich foods like milk and dairy products, fruits, nuts, vegetables, etc. can easily be included in your daily diet. Plus, proteins from meat, eggs, milk, poultry, etc. will go a long way in helping you to grow thick hair too.

Trim your Hair Regularly
It is a common misconception that trimming hair slows down its rate of growth. It’s quite the contrary actually. Going for a regular trim will not only remove the split ends from your hair, but also remove all the redundant hair from your head. As a result, after a trim, you are left with only the healthy hair that is ready to grow long and thick. So, when you see that your hair is developing split ends, get yourself a trim and see how quick and thick your hair grows.
Use Natural Hair Moisturizers
One of the most common causes of lifeless and thin hair is the lack or absence of adequate moisture in the hair and the scalp. To solve this problem of less moisture, you need to use natural moisturizers which will help to rejuvenate your hair, right from its roots. An olive oil massage is one of the best hair treatments that you can give yourself for growing thick hair. Another thing you can do is use tea tree oil to completely cleanse your hair and scalp, by ridding it of any dirt, infection or build up that may have accumulated. You can also use peppermint and lemon-grass to accelerate the rate and the thickness of the hair that grows on your head. They are not only cleansing agents, but also contain nutrients like vitamins and minerals for your hair.
Exercise your Body
Believe it or not, exercising your body also contributes to the growth of thick hair. How? When you exercise, the blood circulation in your body increases. This blood circulation is the maximum at the end points of your body, like your fingers, toes and your scalp. With the invigorated blood flow, the hair follicles on your scalp get stronger and hence produce thicker and healthier hair. So go on a daily morning jog, you’ll feel better and so will your hair!
The natural ways to get thicker hair mentioned above are the easiest and probably the most practical ones that you can use, not to mention extremely cost effective. So follow these tips and get yourself that mesmerizing head of hair you always dreamed of!

Effects Of Sleep Loss in Your Health

Not a long time ago, people still believed that sleep loss has no negative effect on health. However, recent researches showed that more than just excessive day time sleepiness (EDS), sleep loss can cause a lot more troubles.
If you have less than 7 hours of sleep per night, a wide-range of problems can occur to the cardiovascular, endocrine, immune and especially the nervous system. Here are the most common effects of sleep loss on people from children to adult:

Obesity

This fact may confuse a lot of people. Usually, people think that you will gain weight once you can sleep well. In fact, sleep loss prevents the secret of a hormone called leptin, which suppresses appetite. When you sleep less, appetite increases. This is the reason for obesity in people who suffer sleep loss. Research also found that people who sleep 7.7 hours per night have lowest BMI (Body Mass Index).

Diabetes

Two large researches by two independent associations showed that: people with only 5 or less hours of sleep per night will have 2.5 times higher risk of having diabetes in comparison to people who have 7 to 8 hours sleep. Meanwhile, people who sleep 6 hours per night will have lower chance, 1.7. However, sleep more than 9 hours a day is not good as it can produce similar effects to people who only sleep 5 or 6 hours per night.

Cardiovascular related diseases

In a research deployed in 1986, there were a large number of healthy people who didn’t have any cardiovascular problem. They were tracked in a period of ten years. In 1996, those people were gathered again and check the problem with their heart. The report showed that people sleep less than 5 hours a day had 45% higher risk of having cardiovascular problems. Meanwhile, people who have adequate sleep (7 to 8 hours per day) have lower chance.

Panic attacks, anxiety

Excessive sleep loss can have adversely effects on people’s mental health. Panic, anxiety, depression… As sleep loss make it harder to concentrate, people will find themselves doing not well at everything. Bad work result, school reports can cause a lot of depression. Lack of sleep also causes the brain incapability to provide proper react to situations.
Sleep loss can cause a lot of problems to people life. People have a lot of reasons to sleep less than the adequate amount. They could be legitimate ones like night shift, insomnia… or something like night time parties… Whatever the reason, you need to think about the effects that sleep loss may cause to your life. If the reason is insomnia, find a doctor. Change your job, if possible, if it requires a lot of night shift. And if you party a lot, consider changing your lifestyle.

Beautiful new teeth are bright smile. There are lovely teeth, regular, neatly arranged on the arch it was wonderful. But if the teeth are dull … it was a pity! Of bright white teeth are important for the beauty of the smile. Thus, from the past, his father was looking for ways to make teeth whiter, such as brushing your teeth with soot, hen’s egg, determine cau, or toothpaste …

Bleaching simple and modern
Today, to whiten your teeth, the first can think of is remove calculus and polishing. If not satisfied, then there are still lots of alternatives. The simplest and least expensive is to use whitening products without a prescription is sold on the market, for instance, specific types of toothpaste, stickers, soft plastic trays available … But overall, it usually takes more time can last a month and the result is only relative, not as bright as when the teeth whitening methods used (TTR) is controlled by the doctor .
TTR is the control of the doctors there are two types to choose from: TTR TTR at home and in their offices. Each format has its advantages and disadvantages. At present, the TTR measures are based on the principle of fertility is the application of oxygen and oxidation of Hydrogen Peroxide (HP). The authors suggest that HP is a low molecular weight, should be able to diffuse through the enamel and dentin. HP is unstable and easily decompose into free radicals are very active. The main radical oxidation of this bridge, or the original color of the pigment in the dental tissues, decomposing them and thus brighter teeth.
TTR for good results in 95% of stains caused by externalities, such as that in the elderly dark, staining due to filling, due to tooth decay, certain drugs, dental trauma, dead pulp … Particularly for stains caused by internal factors, such as infected teeth tetracycline, fluorosis … very different effect depending on the severity of infection, the response of the teeth and the duration of treatment.
Bleaching at home
Bleach teeth with carbamide peroxide concentrations commonly used 10%, 16%, or 22% Carbamide peroxide exposure … saliva will decompose into HP and urea.Chlorine bleach may lower the effective concentration of the slower but less likely to cause more sensitivity.
Bleaching process at home:
Remove calculus and cleaned teeth. Get the seal jaws to remove the tray. So teeth, shooting to evaluate the effectiveness of bleach. The next appointments, doctors test tray, placing the drug user and extradition are essential around the TTR. Re-examination after two days to test the response of teeth to the drug, control and treatment side effects (if any), through which doctors will decide on the course of treatment, drug concentrations and times next appointment.

In-office whitening
Previously, the TTR in the form of clinics provide HP with a tray containing a high concentration of 30 to 38% and house sitting in a chair for about 1-2 hours. Later, bleach is usually placed directly on the tooth surface without carrying tray bleaching.
TTR in the office used a device support to promote free radical reaction of HP. May simply be an ordinary light bulbs for the purpose of creating heat, or modern than halogen lamps, LED (Light Emitting Diode), and recently the high-end devices such as laser lights, plasma lights … allows for very high energy source with the appropriate wavelength: result, it has shortened the duration of treatment is only 30-45 minutes and is described under the term “in-office QUICK TTR”.
TTR fast process in the office:
Remove calculus and polishing; Place protective gum tree balls and mouth; for patients to wear eye protection; Set to that medication and phototherapy. Each set of drugs and phototherapy called a cycle. Showtimes and some screen time in each cycle varies according to type of lamp. For example: halogen lamps 20-40 seconds / time / dental x 3lan / cycle; LED (LumaCool) 8 min / 2ham; light laser (LaserSmile) 15giay / time / 4rang; plasma lamp (Apollo Elite) 3 seconds / time / dental x 3lan / cycle.
Apollo Elite can Lamp Total transmission parts and power supply plasma shape so that the front teeth of both functions are shown at the same time, screening time is considerably shortened, just 2 minutes / time / 2ham x 3 times / cycle.
The number of cycles to repeat will depend on the response of the teeth, on average, take place 2-3 times is enough drugs. Then, doctors apply fluoride gel in 1 minute and extradition things to note.
In case of severe tooth stains, the doctor can coordinate TTR in the office and at home. After TTR in the office, that still more white after 12-24 hours, so if you need combined TTR at home, usually starting 24 hours later and also to reduce the risk of tooth sensitivity. However, when TTR usually just 2-4 at night is enough. Sometimes TTR is a preparation for the prosthetic teeth later on it for a better cosmetic result.
Bleaching selectivity
Besides both forms of TTR functions as above, there are forms of selective removal of one or several teeth or only on a portion of the tooth (such as cervical …). This measure is commonly prescribed for staining the teeth with dead pulp stock or dark teeth.
Where on an area of the tooth bleaching, bleaching process is the same as above but only where necessary to bleach white. Where the dead pulp bleaching, endodontic treatment that should be good, and the doctor will perform a special process to HP be placed both outside and inside the tooth and still ensure that the tip does not cause irritation.

Smoking and Its Bad Effects toward Mouth Health

Smoking is known to have many ill-effects on health and most of us are aware of the dangers of smoking on general health. What people tend to ignore is the impact of smoking on dental health.
Let us analyze some of the bad effects of smoking on oral health.
Tooth Discoloration:Most smokers are generally aware of the tooth stains that are caused by smoking. These tooth stains are due to nicotine and tar present in the cigarette. The staining ranges from yellow to dark brown (from years of smoking). The staining can be on specific teeth or general discoloration. These stains are hard to remove by normal brushing.
Bad Breath: Smokers are at a much greater risk of developing bad breath than non smokers. The nicotine and tar content gives rise to a typical bad breath known ass mokers breath.
Apart from this smoking causes dry mouth which is a leading cause of Halitosis (bad breath).
Tooth Decay: Smoking puts you at a greater risk of developing dental caries due to plaque build up.
Gum Disease: Smoking also results in gum disease due to plaque and tartar build up. Smoking also interferes with the normal functioning of the cells in the gum tissue. A recent study published in the journal of Periodontology highlights that smokers are 4 times more likely to develop
advanced gum disease.

Tooth Loss: Advanced gum disease (Periodontitis) is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults.
Oral Cancer: We easily associate smoking with lung cancer but another major bad effect of smoking is oral cancer. Nearly 90% of all Oral Cancer patients are smokers.
Some other bad effects of smoking include:
  • Jaw bone loss
  • Mouth bores
  • Shifting teeth
  • Hairy tongue
  • Sinusitis
  • Altered sense of taste and smell
  • Delayed wound healing
  • Smokers lip
Smoking not only creates dental health issues but worsens already existing dental conditions.
The Journal of Periodontology reports a direct correlation between gum disease and number of cigarettes smoked per day. There was an increased likelihood of developing gum disease for people who smoked more.
It reports that people who smoked less than half a pack a day were three times more likely to suffer from periodontal disease where as people who smoked more than one and half pack were 6 times more likely for the same. Recent studies have pointed out the reduced ability of the body to heal itself after surgery. This is because the body’s defense system was weakened by years of smoking.
There are plenty of harmful effects of smoking on oral health which gives all the more reasons to quit smoking.

Night Terrors In Toddlers – Causes and Effective Treatment

Night terrors or sleep terrors are quite common in toddlers. Quite many parents think that night terrors are similar to nightmare. However, they are two complete different sleep problem we might see in kids.

The differences between sleep terrors and nightmare

It is essential for parents to distinguish between sleep terrors and nightmare as they have different approaches of treatment.
  • When the toddlers suffer nightmare, they will be awaken. However, when they have sleep terrors, they are still sleeping
In the morning, the child will remember the nightmare but they don’t remember the experienced sleep terrors
  • While it is possible to comfort the child while he/she has nightmare, you will find it is not possible to do so with sleep terrors simply the kids is not awake.
  • In night terrors, kids can have movement such as sit up, even walk around without recognizing. However, when experiencing nightmare, kids will stay on bed until they are awake.

Possible causes of sleep terrors

Up to now, doctors still don’t know what the exact cause of sleep terrors is. However, it is assumed that inadequate sleep can be the possible cause.

Dealing with night terrors in children

As the possible cause of sleep terrors is inadequate sleep, help the baby sleep better at night can bring positive effects. Research shows that if your toddler sleeps better at night, the frequency of night terrors will be reduced. There are quite many way you can do to help children sleep better:
  • Reduce daytime naps
  • Practicing good sleep habits
In addition to the above methods, the intervention approach has been proven to be highly effective in dealing with night terrors in toddlers. Here are things you need to do in the intervention method:
  • Records the times that your baby has sleep terrors (usually after 90 minutes since your baby fall asleep, at this time; he/she has passed theREMsleep).
  • When you have the sleep terrors schedule, just around 30 minutes before he/she has another one, you will wake him/her up and then help him/her get back to sleep again.
  • Usually, you will not get the same time of sleep terrors occur every night. In this case, you should wake the child up before the earliest point you recorded 30 minutes.
  • It’s not necessary to fully wake up the kid, when you see he opens his eyes, you can let him get back to sleep again.
You should follow this routine for 7 days straight then skip for a night. If your kid don’t have any other sleep terror, that’s good. If the kid still has night terror, you should repeat the routine again and skip one night after 7 days.
With the intervention method, you will help the kid “skip” the sleep terrors. The second time they fall asleep; they will sleep deeper and have less chance of having another night terror.
It is always recommended that you consult this matter with the pediatrician if you don’t have confidence to deal with it alone.

If a baby is sick

Almost anyone, even the strongiest and healthiest baby falls sick from time to time. And if child diseases is an unavoidable thing, let’s try to treat them philosophically.
Childhood diseases is a difficult test, not only for kids but also for his loved ones. Any mother will confirm that it is better to get sick ten times herself, than seeing a suffering little man. A kid feels your mind very good. If you are lost, too nervous, or worse, show panic, it will certainly be transferred to a child. Therefore, no matter how hard you feel in soul, try to get together. Your confidence that everything will be fine will help a child in the fight against disease. Sick child becomes irritable and capricious. Take it easy, be softer and tolerant. Of course, this is not always easy.
A sick child feels anxiety and needs support. Mom’s task is to calm down a child, explain what is happening to him in simple words, believe in a speedy recovery together with him. This is very important, even if a child asks nothing and shows no interest. But some children prefer not asking direct questions, having more reliance on phone conversations and parents’ behavior. It is compassion and empathy should be expressed to a kid, no pity. Pity does not help, but makes a man weak and helpless. Empathy comforts, but also inspires confidence. “I understand you. I love you very very much! We will deal with the adverse disease. You will soon be recovered, cheerful and healthy!” So much better.
Try to give a baby maximum attention, spend together all free time. Do not be afraid a baby will get spoiled over time of disease. It is important to maintain a good mood of ill child. Tell a pipsqueak on how he will recover. Dream together, where you will you go or what you will do. Do not overwhelm your child with new toys, and all kinds of gifts. You can do this and you need to, but knowing the measure. New toys excite a child too much, but it is not necessary now. It is better to take good old friends to a bed – a favorite bear, hare or duckling. They survived a lot of «hard days» along with a baby. And if a baby has been dreaming of some particular toy for a long (ie a dog or a car), then now it is time to realize this dream. This will be a real joy!
If a child refuses taking drugs or does not agree to any procedure, does not make him by force. Almost always you are able to convince a pipsqueak treating freely. Game is a great weapon to combat the disease. As you know, illness is sad and boring. And if you can raise a child’s mood, exhilarate him, involve in an interesting job, then the recovery process will go much faster. Sick child should not necessary be kept in bed for the whole day, unless, of course, it was not prescribed by a doctor. Indeed, there are certain diseases, when strict bed rest is a guarantee of full recovery. But in most cases, such serious measures are not needed. A child will identify himself when he should relax, and when run. Children overcome temperature better than we adults, and it is worth listen to their intuition and not to insist on lying in bed without any particular need. During illness a child can engage in routine affairs. You must only make a minor adjustment. First, limit noise, mobile games. Secondly, take away big, bright, noisy, musical toys. You will need all kinds of magnetic boards, which help collecting geometric patterns or figures of speech. It is very important to never frighten a child with doctors and hospitals.

It is very important to moisturize thick hair. It will help the hair stay frizz-free and de-tangled. When oiling the hair, make sure you oil it at least once to twice a week. Using olive oil with a mild massage for 10 minutes will help the hair get enough oil and moisture. Using other moisture treatments like applying a hair mask, using a warm wrap, etc., can also add moisture to hair. Shampoo the hair only when required, do not excess shampoo, else the hair will tend to be more frizzy. Follow with a good conditioner, apply well to the strands of the hair and specially the tips. Rinse the shampoo and conditioner thoroughly, any residue of chemical can damage and dry the hair. It is advisable to use cold water when washing the hair, as it makes the hair less frizzy and tangled. Choose air-drying over blow-drying. Naturally dried hair will be less frizzy. Avoid using a hair brush when combing, run your fingers to comb the thick hair, if possible.
Styling and Chemical Treatments
To keep thick hair in place and tangle-free, after a wash, use a leave-in conditioner or a hair serum. There are many products including hair sprays, gels and hair mousse, use them when styling the hair. Evenly distribute the styling product across your hair. Avoid excess use of these products. You may also consider getting perms for thick hair, and get dense tresses transformed in shiny curls. Using chemicals and other treatments is not recommended always. Using hot treatments like flat irons and curlers must also be avoided whenever possible. Make sure you treat your hair naturally at least one a week, with moisturizing, oiling and shampooing.
Follow some of these tips on how to tame thick hair, and virtually experience the magic of frizzy, tangled heavy tresses transforming into dense but soft hair. Let these dense tresses and locks fish out some ‘I love my hair’ compliments. Do i see you smile already… ?

Exfoliating Scalp Treatment

Does dry, course and thinning hair urge you to press the panic button. Well, here is why an exfoliating scalp treatment is demanded to nourish your hair from root to tip…
Beautiful, lustrous, thick and bouncy… have these terms eluded themselves to describe your hair? If this is precisely the tragedy you endure, make way for a strategy that will add all those adjectives back to your hair description. There are times when we hear people say that their hair is no more what it used to be. It has lost its to-die-for luster, enviable thickness and the oh-so-gorgeous sheen. It is at this juncture that we start to look out for treatments that could get that lost glory back. We would want that our hair stays committed to the scalp and avoids romancing the hair brush or the shower stall drains. Exfoliating scalp treatments could serve to be the saving grace to restore your hair.
Why is Exfoliating the Scalp Necessary
I am sure you are familiar with the term exfoliation. For all those who believe in low maintenance regimens, may have at least come across this beauty nomenclature in magazines devoted to skin and scalp care. Well, exfoliation serves to be the corner stone of a beauty or skin care regimen. The act of exfoliating the skin is to pluck out the dead skin cells that block the growth of rejuvenated skin cells making the skin look dull and lifeless. Skin that does not follow exfoliation tactics, is sure to suffer from blackheads, whiteheads, acne or pustules. The scalp also needs exfoliation. The scalp has sebaceous glands that secrete sebum which gives luster and moisture to the surface of the scalp. However, as age progresses, the scalp cells gradually lose the secretion of sebum, which results in dry and rough hair follicles. When the hair follicles become weak, the result is thinning of hair. Exfoliating the scalp requires you to concentrate on concocting hair potions that are predominantly nature-based which do not affect the nutrition levels of the hair. Products that contain dihydrotestosterone; also known as DHT, are capable of creating debris, thereby suffocating the hair follicles. When the hair follicles are interrupted from conducting their function of providing moisture to the hair, it is the hair quality that endures a beating. DHT obstructs the nutrient and oxygen supply which leads to the hair follicle closing and dying. What the act of exfoliation does is to evict the buildup thereby maintaining optimum scalp health.
Exfoliating Scalp Treatment
Given in this section of the article, are the various exfoliating scalp treatments. With the treatment methods, this section of the article is also equipped with techniques of how to exfoliate the scalp. Read on to scoop out the information that you have been looking for.
 Exfoliating Treatment #1
All you need to do in this treatment method is to dilute two tablespoons of brown sugar with jojoba oil coupled with a few drops of tea tree oil. This is a scalp scrub that can be massaged onto the scalp gently. Make sure that your massage strokes are circular in motion, concentrating on the temples and the nape area. Keep it on for a few minutes and wash it off with a mild shampoo and lukewarm water. When you are done with rinsing of the hair, expose your hair upside down to a cold water rinse. This will close the hair follicles and will keep the scalp off dead cells and buildup.
 Exfoliating Treatment #2
Beat an egg and add olive oil. Make sure that you add olive oil with the help of a dropper. Add a teaspoon of white vinegar and fenugreek seeds (powdered) and blend together. When you are done, apply this mixture on the scalp with circular movements with your fingers and leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water by using a mild shampoo.
 Exfoliating Treatment #3
Vinegar works wonders. After you are done washing your hair thoroughly, pour a cup of apple cider vinegar. Massage onto the scalp with wet fingertips. Always remember, only use your fingertips and not your nails to scrub off the dead cells on the scalp. Nails can damage the surface of the scalp by aggravating the scalp more than required, thus inviting the scalp to get oily and sticky. This will in turn activate the sebaceous glands making the scalp all the more oily.
 Exfoliating Treatment #4
Drops of fresh lemon juice mixed in a bowl of curd should be applied on the scalp. This exfoliating scalp treatment can be performed once a month. You may leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse it with cool water. Use a mild shampoo that has jojoba extracts and tea tree oil extracts.
Other exfoliating scalp treatments could be to massage the scalp with coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil. After the massage, one may soak a towel in hot water, hold it from its two ends and squeeze out extra water from the towel. Place the hot towel on your scalp without burning your skin. Repeat the process 4 to 5 times. Wash off your hair normally with a nature based or mild shampoo.
Hopefully, these exfoliating scalp treatments may help you in getting back your lost glory, making them shine with health and bounce with life.

How To Get Sleep Faster and Easier

How to get to sleep seems to be a weird question as to many people, sleep and sleep well is a natural thing. However, a large number of people around the world are day and night, searching for the answer for that “seems to be weird” problem. There are a lot of nights after one, even two hours lying down on the bed, we find ourselves stay awake and have no way to get to sleep. Many people choose to stay on the bed and wait for the day light. Sleepless or insomnia is a big problem and there is no exact cure for this problem. However, in this post, I’m going to show you the best methods which have been used to help me as well as a lot other people get to sleep easier and faster.
Don’t drink tea or coffee close to bed time
We all know that tea and coffee have many health benefits but drink these things before going to bed is definitely not a good idea. Needless to explain, tea and coffee are stimulant that keep your mind awake. Even drinking a little amount can make you a sleepless night.

Have a free mind before going to bed

Life is full of matters and issue to worry about. If you are a student, you have exams to worry about. If you are a business man/woman, there are profit and expense matter to take care of. However, when you go to bed, the best thing is to keep your mind stays away from such matters. Think about them before bed time will not help you but instead, make it even harder to get to sleep. I know it could be hard to get rid of all the worries even when you want to forget everything. In this case, listen to some music could be a great help. The most effective music to help you forget about problems and help you sleep faster is classical music. I usually turn the music player on and play very peaceful classical music. Don’t listen to songs like “ode to joy” though. The strong and fast pace of that song can keep you awake rather than help you sleep. In addition, you will want to have a speaker than using a headphone.

Wake up when you don’t want to sleep

There are a lot of people stay on the bed when they can’t sleep. They wish, somehow the sleepiness will come while they are lying and they can get to sleep without noticing. I recommend you not to do so. From my experience, when I can’t sleep, I simply wake up, walk around a little and pick up a hard cover book and read (don’t turn on your computer as there are a lot of thing on the computer can cause you awake all night, games for example). After around 20 minutes of reading, you will feel tired and find it really easy to lie down and sleep.

Reduce the naps during the day

Small naps after lunch can be helpful for people to have good work in the afternoon. However, take too much nap during the day will make it difficult for you to sleep at night, especially when you have problem getting to sleep. With that said, you should only take one short nap during the day and don’t sleep close to bed time even when you want to sleep very much.

Have a specific sleeping routine

Our bodies love to follow habits. With that said, creating a sleep habit can be vital for us to fight sleepless night and difficulty falling asleep. It’s recommended that you set up the specific time to go to bed and specific time to wake up and apply this routine every day, even in the weekend. You may not notice any improvement in your sleep quality in the first few days but when your biological clock gets used to the routine, you will find it a lot easier to get to sleep.

Eat a small dinner

Eating a small dinner brings a lot of benefit including the good impact on your sleep. As you might know, when the night comes, all parts of the body are signalled to slow down and switch to resting-mode. If you eat a big dinner, the digestive system needs to stay awake to digest the large amount of food you take in, which will make it hard to get to sleep. However, going to sleep with and empty stomach is not recommended. Not many people can sleep with an empty belly. With that said, it’s a good idea to have a snack or a cup of milk before going to bed. Snack and milk are easily to digest and they will keep you from feeling hungry.

Meet your doctor

When you find it’s really hard to get to sleep and you suffer from sleeplessness in a long period, it’s best to meet your doctor and get his advice. The doctor may give you some medication such as melatonin sleep aid to help you get to sleep easier. He/she will also give you a full diagnostic to find our further problems and recommend you the best solution for your problem. Sometimes, insomnia is not a sole problem but it can be the symptom of other, more serious problems. Have an appointment with your doctor is always the best bet.
Now you have some good tips and method to get to sleep easier. Don’t expect the result will come overnight. You will need to give these methods a week or two to see the improvement in the quality of your sleep. If you don’t see any improvement, met your doctor is the next step you need to do.

A deliciously captivating aroma is the classic trademark of most of the Asian cuisines and curry leaves are rated to be at the top when it comes to imparting sensuous aroma to the food. The tree also bears small white flowers and edible berries (though the seeds are regarded to be poisonous). Curry leaves usually grow in a cluster of leaflets and each leaflet is 2-4 cm long and 1-2 cm wide.
The characteristic feature of curry leaves is their aroma and in South Indian dishes, it is an integral part of daily food, just like the bay leaves in the Western cuisines. Ways to Get Rid of Sticky Hair After Swimming

Your hair tends to get sticky and unmanageable after a swim. It comes out frizzy, sticky and even leads to a change in color sometimes. Therefore, to maintain its natural fullness and health, you have to cleanse your hair effectively after every swim, without getting rid of the moisture. Find in this article, a few ways to get rid of sticky hair after swimming.
Frizzy hair is a big problem, especially for those with curly hair. And if you happen to be a swimmer or swim regularly, it just adds up to the problem, doesn’t it? Not that girls with straight hair do not face any problem after a swim, of course they do. Your hair comes out sticky, unmanageable and absolutely brittle. This mainly happens due to the chlorine present in the water. Chlorine penetrates your tresses stripping off the moisture in them, leaving them dry and unhealthy. Swimming pool water has the same effect as bleaching. Yes! It tends to bleach the color from your hair, causing them to turn lighter in color than before. Most regular swimmers even complain of developing split ends over a period of time.
Fortunately, there are a few simple ways of keeping dry hair under control and getting rid of the unmanageable sticky locks. Taking proper care before and after your swimming regime should serve the purpose. Numerous anti-frizz products and leave-on conditioners, help in preserving the moisture and the soft texture of your locks. What follows next is a detailed discussion on ways to get rid of sticky hair after swimming.

Ways to Get Rid of Sticky and Frizzy Hair After Swimming
There are a number of things you ought to do before you go swimming; wearing a swimming cap is one of them. Now, this may not necessarily assure dry hair, in that case there are other precautions you ought to take, which will help you keep the chlorine and other pollutants or elements in the water away from causing severe damage to your hair. To keep your hair chlorine proof, you need to hydrate it with clean water before you get into the pool. With your hair well drenched in clean water, there will be no room for chlorine to enter your hair.

Oil your hair before a swim, as this will prevent the chlorinated water in the pool from entering your hair follicles. Choose an oil that works best for your hair type. Now, if you don’t like your hair to be oiled, try using swimmer’s spray. There are many companies that manufacture this particular product that is specially designed to manage untamed sticky hair after swimming. You just have to spray it all over your hair to keep the pool pollutants away. Make sure that before you wear your swimming cap, you tie up your hair, or bun it, or simply braid it, since free flowing hair feels worse as compared to tied up hair.
Now comes post swim care. As soon as you are out of the pool, rinse your hair under clean water. Use a clarifying shampoo that is mild, yet effective in helping you get rid of chlorine. In case you don’t want to use shampoo regularly, you can simply use baking soda. Add a tablespoon of baking soda to a bottle full of warm water and use it in place of shampoo. It not only cleans your hair but conditions it at the same time. Unflavored, unsweetened club soda and apple cider vinegar can also be used to clean out the pool chemicals and help you get rid of sticky hair.
Once you have lathered and rinsed your hair, it is time to untangle it. Be careful and refrain from using a brush. Instead use your fingers or a wide toothed comb to sort your tangled hair. Now, distribute a cream based conditioner generously and evenly all over your hair. Let the conditioner sit in for some extra time in order to do away with the stickiness completely. Now, rinse thoroughly. Leave a little conditioner in the area that comes out dry like the ends of your hair.
Apply a mousse or a leave-in conditioner onto damp hair to settle the frizz and dryness. The problem of split ends can be countered by trimming your hair regularly, that is every two months or so. A cute short hair style will make it easy for you to maintain the health of your hair along with pursuing your swimming career without you having to worry much about your hair. Get a hair spa or deep hair conditioning treatment done once in four weeks, which will ensure that extra dose of moisture and promote great looking, healthy hair.
According to the hair type, length and style, the products and tricks to get rid of sticky hair may vary. All the above methods may not work for everyone, however, you need to start somewhere or at least try some combination of ways that suits your hair type the best. It is important to keep your hair safe while enjoying your swim!

Its incidence is multiplying every year, and yet, it is found to be preventable. With over a million new cases diagnosed annually in the United States, about eighty percent will be basal cell carcinoma. Squamous cell carcinoma constitutes the sixteen percent and four percent of the cases are melanoma. Skin cancer frequently appears on the areas of the body often exposed to the sun’s rays.

Types of Skin Cancer

Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Is frequently seen on areas that are always exposed to the sun’s radiation although it may also be seen on any part of the body. They are often found on the skin but in some cases, it spreads to nearby tissues and organ systems, rendering it fatal. It commonly occurs on injured skin, like burns, scars, sores that have not yet healed for several weeks, or areas exposed to chemicals and radiation from x-rays. Sometimes, carcinomas appear just for no reason. Squamous cell carcinomas may also be genetically inherited.
People with fair skin are predisposed to develop this type of carcinoma although about two thirds of dark skinned individuals with skin cancer are of the squamous cell type.
The symptoms of squamous cell carcinomas:
A wartlike growth that crusts and may bleed.
A red, scaly patch with irregular borders that bleeds of crusts.
An open sore that bleeds and crusts for weeks and doesn’t heal.
An elevated growth with a central depression that may bleed and could grow rapidly.
Squamous cell carcinoma has a better than 95 percent cure rate if detected and treated early.

It is a slow growing type of cancer that is usually confined to one area of the body. It is also detected easily, thus increasing its chances of getting cured by 95 percent.

The five symptoms of basal cell carcinoma:
An open sore that bleeds, oozes, or crusts and remains open for more than three weeks.
A reddish patch on chest, arms, shoulders, or legs. May itch or hurt, or may not.
A shiny bump or nodule that’s translucent. Can be any color, from white. pink, or red to tan, black, or brown. May be confused with a mole.

The most serious form of skin cancer is melanoma which is easier to cure when detected in its early stage but fatal when the cancer spreads. The number of Caucasians affected with melanoma has tripled in the last twenty years. For women aged 25 to 29, melanoma is responsible for almost eighty percent of skin cancer fatalities.
Melanoma originates in the melanocytes, where the body’s pigmentation is produced. Most melanomas are dark in color, either black or brown, but they can also be devoid of pigmentation, and become skin-colored, pink, red, or purple.
In situ melanoma cells responsible for the production of melanin, the body’s pigment. Most melanomas are either black or brown but may sometimes be pink, red or purple. In situ melanoma are localized melanomas while invasive melanomas are those which have spread to other parts of the body, making it harder to treat.
Melanomas are usually brown, black, or multicolored patches, or nodules with an irregular outline. They may crust or bleed and often form on top of existing moles.
If a mole changes or you have any odd growths on your body, go immediately to thedermatologist or family doctor. Don’t hesitate and don’t delay.
